| About | We envision a new slow mobility for Pula, activating the bay as public space for locals and visitors. Analyzing common routes, we highlighted fishing paths as cultural heritage and mapped marinas, ferry lines, and navigation limitations. We developed medium-scale connections linking Pula to Istria and a smaller-scale network connecting key locations: Brijuni National Park, Hidrobaza, Verudela, Pula City Center, and potentially Muzil. Inspired by Orta Lake’s public transport, we designed a circular system centered around a hub. Uljanik serves as the central hub for both boat and tram connections. Additional mobility options include taxi and shared boats operating like a ‘highway.’ Our plan envisions sustainable mobility, transforming Pula’s bay into a dynamic public space. |
